A palm-sized analogue synthesizer with two oscillators and cross-modulation. Sakamaki handled product planning for monotron DUO.

Its X-MOD function follows the approach used in the Mono/Poly, producing complex tones through the relationship between the two oscillators. A ribbon controller with scale settings supports melodic playing.

The MS-10/MS-20-derived filter can also process external audio. Battery power and a built-in speaker allow the instrument to be played and explored without additional equipment.
