A compact analogue ribbon synthesizer paired with an echo-like delay. Sakamaki handled product planning for monotron DELAY.

A selectable triangle or square-wave LFO and a filter circuit derived from the MS-10/MS-20 shape the sound. The wide-range ribbon and delay support sweeping pitches, modulation and repeated effects.

External audio can also pass through the filter and delay. Battery power and a built-in speaker allow the unit to be used both as an instrument and as a small processor for other sound sources.
