An iPhone app bringing KAOSSILATOR’s touch-based playing to a phone screen. Sakamaki handled product planning for iKaossilator for iPhone.

Horizontal gestures control pitch and vertical gestures change the sound, with scale and key settings guiding the notes. Animated visuals respond to the performance.

A loop sequencer records up to five parts, such as synthesizer, bass and drums. The recorded material remains playable and adjustable during playback, linking track creation with live performance in a single interface.
