A compact analogue bass synthesizer with three oscillators and hands-on sequencing. Sakamaki handled product planning for volca bass.

The oscillators can be layered for a thicker sound or used to combine separate phrases. An analogue filter shapes their combined output.

Its ELECTRIBE-inspired step sequencer includes slide for connected pitch movement and Active Step for selecting which steps play. Battery operation and a built-in speaker make it possible to develop bass patterns without a larger studio setup.
