A handheld synthesizer for playing and overdubbing phrases with a touchpad. Sakamaki handled product planning for kaossilator 2.

It contains 150 sounds, with scale and key settings to guide pitch selection. The gate arpeggiator offers adjustable gate time and swing for rhythmic playing.

Two loop-recording banks support muting and crossfading. A built-in microphone and an external microphone input allow voices or instrument sounds to be recorded alongside synthesized phrases, while microSD or microSDHC cards store the resulting loops.
