Lecturer in industrial design at the University of Tokyo.

A part-time lecturer at the University of Tokyo since 2015, Sakamaki taught a seven-session series that year. In the Faculty of Engineering’s 2021 Motivation Project, he taught the industrial-design assignment in the PSI course alongside Kazuhiro Aoyama and Shiro Aoki.

The 2021 course starts with design thinking and uses prototyping to develop, evaluate and refine ideas. Its scheduled activities include CAD, design reviews and a final presentation.
