RK-100S

A keytar that revives the shoulder-worn format of RK-100 with an internal sound engine, a wooden body, slim keys and two ribbon controllers. Sakamaki handled product planning for RK-100S.

Unlike the 1984 remote keyboard, which required an external sound source, RK-100S includes analogue-modelling synthesis. Its arpeggiator, vocoder and ribbon controls extend performance beyond the keyboard itself.

Favourite buttons recall stored sound selections directly, supporting changes made while the instrument is worn and played on stage.
