Polysix for Reason

A Rack Extension recreating the KORG Polysix synthesizer within Reason. Sakamaki handled product planning for Polysix for Reason.

Component Modeling Technology models the electronic components of the 1981 analogue instrument. The software expands polyphony from the original six voices to as many as 32 notes, depending on the host computer.

Its interface is adapted for Reason, and control connections use Reason’s CV signals. It is designed to operate alongside other devices inside the rack-based production environment.
