Organized PLAY! volca!, a participatory event where people brought KORG volca analog synthesizers and took turns performing. It took place at Sora House in Shibuya, Tokyo, on 12 August 2013.

The event centered on back-to-back performances using only volca instruments. A multichannel mixer was provided, and people without a volca were also invited to join with guidance on operating the instruments.

Cards bearing participants’ names determined the performance order and the next player, with two synchronization clocks available. The announcement listed an 18:00–21:00 schedule and a capacity of 30.

In a comment posted the following day, the organizer shared a SoundCloud recording of the event. It covers only part of the session because the recording stopped before the end.
