A desktop listening system pairing AudioGate 3 software with a USB digital-to-analogue converter. Sakamaki handled product planning for DS-DAC-100.

AudioGate 3 manages playback and format conversion on the computer, while the hardware supplies the analogue output for headphones or a speaker system. The converter supports native DSD at 2.8224 and 5.6448MHz.

The software can also convert sources such as MP3, WAV and audio CDs to DSD during playback. The USB-powered hardware and software were designed to operate as one playback system.
