A modelling synthesizer combining multiple oscillator types, modelled filters and hands-on performance controls. Sakamaki handled product planning for KingKORG.

Its XMT engine provides three oscillators for each of two timbres, with analogue waveforms, PCM and DWGS among the available sources. Filter models draw on the characteristics of several synthesizer designs.

Three effect sections cover pre-effects, modulation and delay or reverb. An analogue vacuum-tube drive stage adds a further means of shaping the output, extending sound design beyond the oscillator and filter sections.
